Video on a VXR in ruff water & FZR speed run

    Hi All,

Here is a video of me riding the VXR in really choppy water. As you can here , the VXR pops out of the water alot. LOL

Thanks Scotchmonster & Rick XP for getting me off my A$$ and hitting the water again as my back isn't the best lately. Its been awhile , but still havent lost the touch.

Also a video of me on Rick XP's FZR setup NOW for CC racing. Man that thing fly's and turns fast!!

What we really need is a comparison of the VXR vs. the FZR in chop. Instead, another (y-a-w-n) smooth water speed run
+1 people say the VXR handles good in the ruff, but what kinda rough are they talking about ? this definitely is not rough water and this VXR is catching it's ass. My FZR would be slicing through those waves like nothing in stock configuration.

Sorry to say this, and not meaning to offend the rider, but------The guy riding the VXR in the vid is pretty crap at riding in the rough!
Throttle control would prob give an extra 10-15 mph. Holding the throttle open and hitting the limiter that hard that often is pretty crap riding.

Who said their good in the rough???
I own one, and a 09 FZr and have had about a dozen GPR's-The VXR is VERY slightly drier in the rough than a GPR-, the ride out offshore is about the same-(beats you up).-The FZ's will destroy it offshore-it's the same as the comparing the old school gp1200 against the 1300R in most ways. GPR-solid and tight, Gp1200 brilliant, fun loose hull. Pretty much the same with VXr-and the rounded hull is very close in profile/handling to the old 97-99 GP!

I've read in many threads here that says that the VXR handles good in the chop. Search in some of the VXR threads and you will find them.

Don't beleive all you read my friend!
    Lots of keyboard racers here!
Don't get me wrong-I am really happy with my VXR, and I bought it for playing on and jumping with-which it is great at, but completley different from going fast offshore/racing.-It's a great ski for what i want it to do,but if I wanted to go racing offshore, then id be better off with a FZ/SHO/ULTRA.

From the VERY first video EVER released on the VXR (with Amy Green and Company), you could tell this boat wants to bounce with very little chop.
