What is it with GP1200/1300 covers?

I don't understand the high prices for OEM covers. $200 for new and best I've seen is $125 for used. There are at least twenty new OEM on Ebay any day, where do those sellers get them? You can buy a used piston for one-third the price of new. You can pick up a storage bin, a seat, even an R & D intake for half of the new price. Why can't I find an OEM cover for less than $100?
    Thanks for letting me vent.
