Not sure what you are talking about. Since most sane people do not ride at night there is no need for lights. A couple of members had installed LED brake lights and turn signals and one member did a bunch of LED's on the top deck a long time ago.

I think it's basically illegal to ride a ski at night here in Florida,
so it's kind of a waste at least in this state.

Now the trike project I am working on will have 180 red SMD LED's underneath the body controlled with a key chain remote.

SUPERBRIGHTLEDS.COM Been using them for years (since 1992), as recently as last night TNR, and they did work well underwater when I had to half roll over in a trail to have my buddy pull my weeds. Custom port, starboard, stern, accent, stobe, and black bullit lights too. Lots of pics in the BC Can, facebook, youtube, etc.

Personal watercraft may not be operated from 1/2 hour after sunset to 1/2 hour before sunrise, even if navigation lights are used. Remember, both federal and state law requires the use of navigation lights from sunset to sunrise.

I Night Ride At Least Once A Week Year Round

Personal watercraft are "power driven vessels" by definition in all jurisdictions, and their respective regulations. However, many states, provinces, and countries have chosen to decriminate against PWC's with extreme prejudice by restricting their operation at night, even when properly equipped to do so, plus a couple of other minor differences. One trade off is no blower for inboard motor. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
No enforcement officer can discern a lit PWC from any other craft at night, from a distance. I've impressed more than one cop at night with my lights, and asked them to write me up so I could have my day in court. They refused.
Any do gooder, tree huggin' riders that are too afraid to ride at night, but would like to, they can sell me their skiis, and go buy a kayak. Or, buy the lights, and have at 'er.
