hopefully last sc question for me

so i bought a 04 rxp with 66.6 hrs on it. it now has 69 hrs, i called a couple of locall shops to see if i brought them the sc could they change the washers. they all said NO i would have to do a complete rebuild. does that make sense? and if thats the case do i go with stock rebuild,or with a bigger wheel, or go to a x charger? and can i go with just a x charger for now or do i have to do more to make that charger work? also if you give the dealer the hin# would they now if that charger had been updated? if the machines from a nother state. thanks for the help.

An 04 with 69 hours is getting close to rebuild time anyway, might as well rebuild it. I think they are giving you pretty sound advice. IMO. Send it to Jerry if your not confident in rebuilding it yourself, I avoid dealers like the plauge.

The dealer should be able to pull up the service history if any warranty work was done.

You'll need some to additional items to upgrade to an x charger.

If you are thinking of upgrading the SCer, just buy a new X-SCer now. Save money on rebuilding the old one. Going to need injectors and a new prop or get the old pitched.
