Air Intake Ideas?
I had a great conversation with pirates81 today at how he made his own 4" air intake and got me curious what everyone else has done to make their own intake system. So please post what you used and how it effected the performance thankyou. Thinking of making one myself trying to get ideas.
So far I am thinking a kanaflex hose but how many feet? I will get the sc adapter and run it the way the intake is now up to the existing intake inlet between your legs behind the handle bars where I will attach a 4" spectre ss filter. How does this sound? I know I need clamps anything else needed?
Also where does the engine breather tube go when you install the intake?

I know about the fizzle however I can get the filter for $22 right now and the 8ft of kanaflex hose for $24 and the sc adapter I think is $39 which saves me alot more and keeps the wife happy.

I just did the kanaflex 7ft and R&D adaptor this past weekend for under 85.00 bucks and all I can say it was worth it.
I not running a filter, just a Kawasaki ultra 250 inlet that's horn shaped.

How did you run it and how far to the front? Have pics? What did you do with the engine breather tube?
