    re-stricter plate in carb???

I have a 2004 virage and I was told by the previous owner that there is a re stricter in the carb that doesn't allow it to reach max speed by impeding the airflow. I was told that this pwc was a rental and thats why it was installed. Is there any validity to this? If so, can I just remove it?

    Thank you.

    Aftermarket restrictor plate installed?

Have a look at the carburetor installation. Is there a plate between carb and intake manifold?
