Needing to buy a jet ski dock/lift any suggestions?

I live on the lake and just bought an 08 gp1300r with less than 7hrs so I am wanting to buy a dock/lift that will keep the hull in the great shape that its currently in as much as possible.

I youtubed one called the sunport2 by suntream and it looks really good but my local dealer wants $2600 for it! thats crazy...so any suggestions? My neighbor has a shoremaster shoreport how are those I have never even talked to them so I have no clue how good it is?

    Check your Craigslist...

I have a Hydroport 2 and think it is great!

If you buy a jet port...make sure it will hold your ski...

I bought a lift earlier that would not keep my GP1200r out of the water..

My marina just upgraded their old EZ docks to newer models, which have 3 or 4 rollers rather than the older ones that only had 1. Much, much easier to get the ski on and off.

I also recommend looking for a model that gets the rear end of the ski out of the water. Some of them don't get the back end high enough. Also be sure that the dock is long enough for the ski, so you can access the rear end. If it is not long enough you will have a challenge trying to get the cover on or off the ski when it is sitting on the dock.

The nicest ones I've seen are the air inflated ones that you drive on then flip a switch and they inflate and lift the ski completely out of the water. Very easy to get off of too. Probably pretty expensive?

I have 2 EZ ports and like them. They are very stable for multiple people to stand on and seem to fairly easy on the hull. My wife thinks they are hard to launch and drive ski back on after use. I think they set me back a little over $4200 with all mounting hardware.

Thanks for the tips but ended up with a permaport.
