Mods installed this week, need help tuning

So I spent Monday thru Thursday installing these mods and this is where I am. No, I didn't have a GPS with me, the one I was going to use was sitting in a drawer and the battery acid got the better of it...

    Installed mods:
Rude 1 (pushing 11psi. at WOT)
    bosch 42# injectors
    XS Intercooler
    IC Block off
    RE's
    2deg. wedge w/riva extension
    speedfreaks pump shoe
    speedfreaks nose cone
    innovate LC-1
    DIY RRFPR (areomotive w/gauge)
    TDR waterbox & thru Hull
    j-pipe w/bung
glovebox gauge pod (boost & A/F)
    Fizzle catch can
    Rear air
    worx Grate
    Solas 15/20R (New)

I am hitting the rev limiter at I would say about 90% throttle. 8100rpm

The RRFPR is set at 45psi. This is giving me a A/F of 11.9 at idle and WOT, It is somewhere in the 13's in mid range.

I think that I need the prop pitched a bit, but I am not sure if I should go to to a 15/22R or have this one tweaked a bit.

As far as the throttle, when it is trimmed all the way up, I hit the rev limiter, when i trim all the way down I am at about 8000-8050.

As far as the speed, what should I be at with this setup, my only comparison is my friend has a 06 with stage 1 + sponsons, and pro BO's, and I slowly walked away from him at WOT, he runs 71 on GPS.

8100 is not the rev limiter, 8300 is.

First things first..... Set your RRPFR at 60 psi base and then for RR at 1:1. It is getting lean as you start acquiring boost. You should be in the 14.2ish range for idle. 12.8ish for mid, 11.6-11.8 for WOT! You are WAY TOO RICH at idle.....

Dial your prop in. Minor tweaks here and there. The RPM's should be relatively the same whether the trim is up or down. Sounds to me like you are sucking air from somewhere. Possibly bad carbon seal and bellow. Being that you have an 04, chances are that it has not been changed. Good idea to do it before you sink it like I did....

Actually, there are two limiters... The soft limiter is at 8200. You need to pitch for 8160 or so. The hard limiter is at 8300.

I just changed the carbon seal, bellow, clip, flange, and new o-rings on friday to avoid any questions, I will adjust psi on the Regulator, but i wouldn't know where to set it at 1:1, there is one adjustment screw at the top. I printed out the info on here on RRFPR settings and A/F readings, it stated with the lc-1 i should be at about 11.9. But I will try it out..

So... i was under the impression that 8100 is the rev limiter, then why does it not go over 8100 while i am increasing throttle? and if this is correct wouldn't increasing the pitch bring me down lower?

I might should buy one of those bellow bands or go to the bearing carrier... any experience with these?

The RRPFR will automatically set itself up for RISING RATE if you attach the vacuum tube to the manifold. As the boost rises it will add 1 psi of fuel per 1 lb of boost. If you have yours hooked up this way, you should be good.

Yep it is, fron the IC blockoff directly to the RRFPR

One other question I just thought of, the boost gauge, at idle it reads -6, then goes to 11 at WOT, is that correct?

Sounds to me like it's dialed in pretty good if you are seeing a solid 8100. The tach only reads in 50rpm increments so you may actually be at 8140 and this is why you dont see the roms change with that last bit of throttle pull. With the 1:1 rrfpr all you can adjust is wot and it sounds like thats on the money at 11.9. you should expect somewhere around 77mph with this set-up depending on rideplate and fine tuning.
