Has anyone relocated their rxp-x intercooler without a kit?

I cant justify 400+ dollars for a few couplers and some plate aluminum. Has anyone built their own bracket? I would like to see some pics

Yes, It was easy for me, I just took the stock IC bracket apart then made a bracket to move the ic to the side like RIvas kit. I then bought a bunch of silicone hose and stuff from silicone intakes.com. It was about a solid two days work and about $150 bucks of pipe and couplers.

I wished you lived by me then. I spent all day Sunday trying to do the same. I gave up and bought another Fizzle kit for my ski.

To the OP . If you are not handy I would get a Fizzle kit. Fits awesome and works good.

Guys it is so simple and I will post one or two pics to help out tomorrow. I will not be able to show everything, but you will get the idea of what I did. SO SO SIMPLE, but your stock bracket is pulled apart.

Here is what I did. This is my second one as the other is in the x boat.

I took apart the top of the stock bracket and if you wanted you could just revit it back togethere to put you ski back to stock.
Second I bought a pieces of flat stock and had a bend put in it. ($18bucks at a metal shop)
I then traced a design of the pump shoe bolts and made a templete. and this is what I got. Pics added. Then ofcoarse I need to cut it and revit it togethere and then install and fab pipe.
