    RPM Racing Enterprises is proud to announce Round # 3 of the 2011 TCO (Triple Crown of Offshore Racing) The APBA PWC Offshore National Championships Long Beach to Catalina & Back presented by Sea-Doo and Sea Tow.

    RPM Racing has provided an incentive to get the entry forms in early: $175 is the price for early registration (before Friday, Jun 17, 2011) any entries received after June 17th entry fee increases $25 to $200.00.
    Please fill out the form on your computer, save it and email it back to [email protected] or if paying by check please mail the completed entry form and check payable RPM Racing Ent. 1803 Morgan Lane, Redondo Beach, CA 90278

    Please note: Credit Cards will not be charged until race weekend. In the event a racer cancels or doesn't race, nothing will be charged to your credit card.
    *Sportsman Class remains $100.00
    *Manufacturer Stock Class now allows after market bilge pumps as the ONLY modification allowed.

    2011 TCO Classes Offered:

    Pro Open Class: Professional Level. Modifications authorized. This is the "Open" class. Please note that Open is Open, all IJSBA modifications are allowed.

    Veteran Master Class: Racers that are 35 and older are allowed to race in this Class. Modifications are authorized in this class. These racers cannot hold a "PRO" APBA card.

    Amateur Open Class: Modifications to the power train is authorized in this class

    Manufacturers Stock Class: No modifications are authorized in this class except an after market bilge pump for safety

    Super Stock Limited: Hull modifications are allowed i.e. lifter wedges, handlebars, seat covers, ride plate, etc. You are not allowed to do anything to the power train.

    Sportsman Class: This class is reserved for first time Offshore racers only. Entry fee is the reduced rate of $100.00. The reduced rate applies to the first offshore TCO race only. Your second race will be in another class, NOT SPORTSMAN. There are no TCO titles for the Sportsman Class. If you have previously raced a TCO race, you cannot participate in this class. This is for brand new offshore racers only.

    Registration, Safety/Tech Inspection will be held on Saturday, March 26th at Dana Point Jet Ski from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Late Registration/Safety/Tech inspection will take place from 6:45 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at the Dana Point Embarcadero Launch ramp parking lot. Mandatory Riders Meeting for ALL racers is at 8:00 a.m. at the Dana Point Embarcadero Launch Ramp parking lot. Race starts at 10:00 a.m.

    REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA – June 2011 - RPM Racing Enterprises released today the final details, plans and schedule for the 2011 Long Beach to Catalina & Back APBA PWC Offshore National Championships presented by & This prestigious National Championship event is part of the Long Beach Offshore Powerfest weekend that takes place on July 16th and 17th. Three separate racing events including the 63rd Annual Catalina Ski Race on Saturday July 16th , the American Powerboat Racing Association’s (APBA) Pacific Offshore Powerboat Racing Association (POPRA) Offshore “Rum Run” race and culminating on Sunday July 17th with the APBA Professional Watercraft Racers (PWC) National Offshore Championship Long Beach to Catalina & Back race (LB2CAT) presented by Sea-Doo & Sea-Tow.

    Powerfest Weekend kicks off on Friday, July 15th with the race teams moving into the pits at Marina Green Park in Long Beach. There is a Beach Bash party on Marina Green park complete with vendor booths, live music, activities for the entire family. Both Powerfest and the Beach Bash is a free event open to the public.

    Five classes of personal water craft including the “Sportsman” for the “first time” racer class, “Manufacturer’s Stock” classes to entice the average PWC enthusiast to participate and “Super Stock Limited” class (open to all racers that have done minor modifications to their boats except the powertrain). These classes are expected to swell the field to over 75 boats as the news of the weekend of racing stirs interest in the entire personal water craft community to enter and be a part of this momentous weekend. Offshore PWC racers from across the country are clamoring to get their entries in and compete with the elite West Coast group of offshore endurance experts try to break the new records in every class set last year for the challenging channel crossing.

    The current points leader for the Triple Crown of Offshore Racing and back to back 2008 & 2009 overall winner Craig Warner, Corona, CA #1 Monster Energy & Kawasaki will be back again going for his third APBA National title on a Kawasaki Ultra 300X. Among the early entry favorites are Mark Gerner, Aliso Viejo, CA #58 on a Kawasaki Ultra 300X and from Alice, TX- Tyler White #3 also on a Kawasaki Ultra 300X. This year will feature some international competition with an Australian team that will compete in the 58 mile sprint.

    All the components are converging to make this weekends events one of the most exciting of the two and Ĺ month long 2011 Long Beach Sea Festival. So come to Marina Green Park in Long Beach and watch the 2011 Long Beach Offshore Powerfest races to experience the fun and excitement of powerboat racing in 3 different forms!     Who's in, WHO'S OUT? We have 2 dedicated guys coming from Australia to do this race. One will be racing on a N/A craft, the other on a 250x. They plan on kicking OUR asses! SO, you guys and Gals should be training, and NOT let that happen. Lets get some hype on this race! 2011 LB2CAT…No Excuses…..
