    West Marine has killer customer service!!!

    I bought a GPS unit for my X ski (gtx mounting in glove box) and they got me to purchase the protection plan which I normally never go for.
    Well last fall I had an acccident with the ski that left it submerged and it ruined the unit.

    I knew i had the warrantee but 2 years later i could not find the paperwork.

    I was given a number by hte local store for corporate and with an hour had faxed copies of the reciept/with warrantee.

    I walked into the store yesterday,showed him the GPS and paperwork, he got a brand new one out of the case,a few minutes of paperwork, and I was out the door with a new one.


    No bullshit,no hassle.

    Good deal, but that`s what you paid for... otherwise their pricing really sucks...

    +, they support organizations that aren't exactly PWC friendly. I would rather send my business elsewhere.

    there return policy sucks ass .paid with cash.Had to wait for a check in the mail .huh what come on.BULLSHIT.
