GP1200R engine trouble
I just acquired a 2001 GP1200R that has some compression problems. I want to see what you all recommend I do with the engine. The compression is: #1 95-100, #2 125-130, #3 ~30. I checked the compression with the engine cold so these number may be off but I think there is definately a problem with #3.
The ski cranks up fine and drives well, it has a problem if you give it full throttle from a complete stop, but if you feather the throttle a little bit it will get up and go, no telling how old the gas is though, I haven't had a chance to drain the tank.

Your ski is just running on 2 cylinder. I would fixes it be fore it take out your motor.
