Looks like you have a lean condition going on there. You need to take a look at your carbs, get them cleaned out check your jets/springs and run rebuild kits. This is most likely the cause of the seizure so it needs to be rectified nothing worse than having the same thing happen on a new top end.

Those are Wiseco pistons which need to be clearanced MORE than what Wiseco calls for. Normally about 6 1/2 to 7 thou clearance with them. Not the 4 thou they call for.

Yes, you're definately lean. Make surte to do a leak down test after the rebuild.

You have the good fuel pump already, so replace the fuel lines and/or the petcock as wellas the oil hoses and filters.

Definately go through if not rebuild the carbs. (genuine Mikuni parts only)

Also make sure to run a little premix inside the fuel tank until you know your oil pump is working correctly. And after you redo the top end while breaking in the rings.

Make sure to properly break in your rings after the top end installation. Then monitor your jetting before doing any extended WOT runs.

He bought the SBT exchange cyls and pistons. So he's better off with the cast pistons already.

Those are the Wisecos in the pics.

He has already bought the SBT exchange to replace the Wiseco's.
