How much oil is in it? most of us try to keep around half way on the dipstick.

sounds like a faulty tops valve...

i think they were electronic in the 04/05??

and in a different location to where my 07 one was... is the oil spraying up onto the underneath of the seat???

the ski runs fine when it past about 6000rpm the dip stick will fly off and oil will start sprayin all over is like a strong compression will come out thru the dip stick

Faulty tops valve or your engine is having mayor leakage(through the piston rings)
