Need to know... stock Sl780 coil wiring... After removing the pro cdi...

Ok... I remember that they were wired in sink with the stock CDI, but the pro cdi wired them seperatly.. how do the coils wire up? With the stock cdi, there is one black w/ white striped wire, and one black wire. There is one black w/ white striped wire, and one black wire coming from each coil... how do they wire back together?

    Thanks,
    Jared

Oops, nevermind! I found MY OWN picture in which I labeled the wiring before I took it apart for the pro! Man, I sure am thorough!

She cranked right back up and runs great!

    Hey Jared,

You got a pic of your electrical box? I need to find one that I can fit my pro CDI in and I don't think my 650 one is going to hack it.

Here you go! See the space to the right.. my PRO CDI fit perfectly in there, vertically.. not horizontally like the stock CDI.. of course it wasn't mounted cuz there's no holes for it..but TRUST me it was secure with the tightness.

I just mocket up the proCDI in the 650 Box it will fit if you mount the cdi to the bottom of the box. The wireing is giong to be tight but it should fit. The 1994 and up have a taller box with a terminal board for attaching all the wires

The pro box is the same size as the 750 box but t is made of plastic and has buckles to snap it together and the wire gromets are the threaded type. It is a much lighter box.
