carb fitting/nipple broke off
I have an old JS550 that was leaking gas at the carb. When I tried to replace the fuel line, the brass carb nipple broke off with the line. The carb is abviously aluminum and the fitting is brass. Is there a way to fix this carb? Could another brass fitting be pressed in? What can I do? Please help if you can.

It's just pressed in. Drill out the busted hunk... and press in a new nipple.

That is a relief. It seemed like the logical thing, but I have never heard of it.
BIG question.... where do I get a replacement nipple?
