Help with loss of rpms on rxp-x

I put the following mods on my jet ski and I am only seeing 7600 rpms. Do you guys think the impeller is too much for the ski.

    4" Fizzle intake- no filter
    Fizzle Intercooler
    R&D Intake grate
    Riva wedge
    Riva VTS extension rod
    solas 15/22R
    free flow exhaust
    RXP 83mm nozzle
    riva catch can

The impeller maybe too much. What were the air/water temp, humidity, BP? Check the adjustment on the VTS rod. Why do you have a Fizzle I/C on a PX? I would think about running a 160* thermostat with close loop, too.

    JP,

I was trying to relocate the factory one and had some issues so decided to buy the fizzle to make the relocation easier.

The 160 degree thermostat is on its way from Jerry/Riva.

The Fizzle I/C is good, but the X-I/C is better at cooling the intake charge(more power). Especially in the hot Florida 90* water we have.

Take a look at the VTS adjustment. Also, go over the all I/C hoses for a possible slight boost leak. Did you put bolts in both sides of the Fizzle I/C? Wouldn't be the first time someone has left one out.

+1 Could be the charger slipping or maybe something up with that cooler. I had basically the same mods and had no trouble spinning a 15/22 8100.

    JP,

Yes I put both bolts on the sides of the tanks and used pipe dope to seal them in. The VTS was put in and it comes preset by Riva correct?

2 weeks ago with the ski basically stock it was pulling 8k.

With the VTS you will need to find the sweet spot for your boat.
Did you do all the mods at once? And how many hrs on the ski?
