Unhappy HELP PLEASE H-TEMP PROBLEM 05 Sea Doo RXT

So here in Ohio was one of my first days I could get out on the lake with my 05 Sea doo RXT and as I was cruising along today after being on the lake for about 5 mins a H Temp signal came across my speedo station and the red light flashed and bogged the jet ski down. I have read some other forums on what it may be but is there any other imput or advice someone can give me to fix this problem. After it happened once I was able to start again but then it keep re occuring. Please help with thoughts and suggestions on where to start. Thank You I appreciate it. Have a great day.

Sorry to ask the obvious.. But there was coolant in it right?

There is no coolant on the exhaust side of the cooling system. Look in the pump area and make sure there is no debri blocking the water inlet.

Is it a stock ski ?

yes it is a stock ski... so you believe there may be some sort of blocking or clogging towards the pump?

yes or the intercooler could be clogged. Water flows through the intercooler then out to the exhaust manifold. Seeing how its 6 years old now it may be worth pulling it out and cleaning it anyway.

An step by step is here http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...ht=intercooler
obviously just stop where they are adding the extrenal intercooler but the directions show how to remove the stock one.

You checked the pump for debri ? stick a flash light in there and see if the filter is blocked. Right though the steering nozzle.
