    ViPEC Log view

    Sup mates,

I have my ViPEC for almost a month now, and i am still in the testing vase ...

I am still facing engine temp issues, last test the Air Intake Temp was 49C and the Engine Cooling Temp was 78C ... I have Riva PowerCooler with R&D Eng/IC Cooling ...

Need to get it down a little to get more out of my set up ...

I need some advices about how to view my log files, like i dunno how to find out the boost and AFR's, under what name they are in the parameters list?

one more thing, how to get the time plot view like this:

In the help section of the vipec software there is a tutorial that walks you thru alot of the settings.

yes, but it's really diffecult to go over the help section ...

They should make a new one and make it more user friendly ...

its real simple. Boost is Manifold pressure(MAP) in kPa and you have to convert it online and minus 14.7 to get your boost in PSI. I'm not sure how to see your AFR's right now but I would figure it out in a minute or two. The time plot is easy. Just open a log file got to the top where it says logging and hit the play button.

I'm putting together a document for the logging that will help you (and others) out. BUT Alan's suggestion about the tutorial is wise. You need to have an understanding of the software and how to add to or remove views etc.. This will aid in understanding the data better. If you have specific questions please ask or send me your data log and I would be happy to explain it to you and show you a few things.
