    Little Help with SCIC maintenance!!

Sorry for the elementary question, however before I got my 05 Sportster SCIC, i've only had a 96xp in fresh water. Now that i have my sportster, I will primarily be in salt water.

Could someone elaborate on what needs to be lubed with Bombardier Lube before/after I ride? I plan on getting the salt away system for flushing/washing, however I am unsure what I need to spray with lube, or what I can and can't spray with it. I'd like this thing to last a long time with no corrosion, so I'm trying to get educated before going out.
Also, if anyone knows where to get the repair manual, I'd appreciate that as well. Thank you.

    Mitch

Flush the motor and let it run for 5 mins. Then I'd just spray the throttle body with wd40. And then every few outings simple green the entire engine compartment. That should be more than enough... One thing you'll want to do is every so often take the plastic cover off the shifter asy and hose it with WD40. That really gets crusty in there if you don't.

Thanks for the replys and the welcome! How about the nozzle and everything back there, should I be spraying that with wd-40 and/or bomb lube after each outing? Picked up the salt away today, so I'm good on that, just broke now! Thanks again

You can but I wouldn't spray it every time out.
