Pro 785 trim worked last summer, now it doesn't!

I took my 97 Polaris Pro 785 out on the water yesterday for the first ride of the season. Everything worked fine and it ran great, but my trim did not work. The gauge says its moving when i press the up and down on the handlebar controls. I couldn't hear the motor even trying to work when I had it out of the water.

I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions, or where I could start I did some reading about taking the trim motor box apart and cleaning some of the corrosion away?
    Thanks!

That would be the place to start.

Another recent thread discusses the trim motor testing.

Thanks, It was funny I came out into the garage to work on it and get an idea what was wrong with it and it worked!! lol no idea, but I still might just get into the box and clean it out just to be safe.
