GPR Seat Width
I was wondering if anyone has any ideas about a different seat option that is not as wide as the stock GPR seat? I know that Riva has the carbon fiber one that is narrower and I will eventually purchase one if the right deal comes along. If you are not at least 5'10" or taller the current stock seat is not comfortable to stay on all day. Any ideas or solutions would be appreciated.

Riva no longer has carbon fiber seats. You can try to order one, but they are gone. Trust me.
What you can do, is box up your seat and send it to Jettrim, and tell them you want the tall seat mod done. They will put a layer of foam down where the saddle part of the seat is. This will "unbend" your short little legs a touch more, and give you the illusion of being on a narrower seat. I've had one. Being a tall guy, I hated it.
If you have a gp12r, you can get a gp13r seat. It is a tad narrower, and has a little harder foam, resulting in a taller stance. Strange, but that whole "taller" stance thing is what seems to make it work for shorter folks.
Honestly, this ski is FRIENDLIER for taller riders like myself. I'm sure it's why I love the top deck so much. I feel like I sit IN the ski, not ON the ski. For those under 5'9" I hear mixed stories. I have a lady rider that is around 5'8" and she absolutely loves the gpr because of the seat/handlebars/footwell relationship... go figure.

You can "borrow" my spare 1300 seat if you want to see how if fits you.

Watch E-Bay. I got a 1300 seat for $60.00. It only weights around 13 lbs too.
When are we going ride on the Neches man?

When I first bought my GPR in '01 I was aware of the "wide seat", but I found it was not a problem to me at 5'10" and 70 kilo's. I think thats about 150 pounds?????
We have a girl that rides her GPR with us who is about 5"5" tall and about 50 kilo's, and she has no problem at all.
I remember well the local 'doo dealer telling people how uncomfortabe the GPR was compared to the then latest from them. Not sure that he had ever even tried a GPR.
