-aeromotive fuel reg
-intake manifold ring with aftermarket hose
-free flow exhaust

my quest is i am doing 70.8 still hitting red line and i weight about 188 is that a good speed for the mods i have or am i below or high ????

With that prop you should be banging the limiter. If you get off the limiter you will pick up more speed.

Im hitting 69 with a bone stock SHO. I'd say your speed is low for the money you spent.

Definitively need to get someone repitch your prop you should probably go with a 13-23 as u r hitting the rev limiter

If you're on the limiter, you need a couple degrees in the prop. I have similar mods and a Skat 13/22 prop. Not sure of top speed with it because I haven't had good enough water to do speed runs, but there's a big-time noticeable difference over the stock prop, and I was able to get a 71.3 GPS with the stock one on the limiter. IMO, the fuel regulator really isn't necessary unless you're running increased fuel flow, which you're not with the mods you have. If you're building a foundation for future mods, then that's different.

Also, I see that you removed the stock ride plate spacers. Did you add any shims? I forget exactly what I added when I had the spacers removed but I didn't just remove and reinstall plate. I'm running the Jims modded VX plate now and have been for a while so I forget what I had with the stock plate.

More prop pitch on the trailing edge, but not too much. The idea is to get the right pitch so that you are right up to, but not hitting the limiter. On mine, the scat 13/22 seems just right. When I rode in 57 degree water, I hit the 1st stage of the limiter a couple times, but in water over 60, I haven't.
