    GPS recommendations...

    what "cost effective" gps should i pick up to track speeds? tia

    Are you wanting to do some data logging or just a speed readout. If you want just speed readout with a few other features, I would go with the Garmin eTrex Legend. It is a great GPS and can be easily mounted to several places. Handlebars, glove box, steering....etc...

    The extrex is great for speed checking. If you actually want to use a gps for navigation then try Garmins oregon series.

    bump! i was trying to find the garmin forerunner wrist strap model and am having a hard time finding one thats available to buy. any link or help would be appreaciated!

    This is the one I use for Triathlon's.....

    NOt what you are looking for but it will do the trick...
