What up fellas, quick question on my 03 gtx sc, i was reading on the forum that i can take out the second waterbox out and it wouldnt affect any performance, so i took it out yesterday and now i have some hoses just laying around, starting with Y pipe i cap off the second outlet and the other hose i'm going to run the thru hull exhaust, i also know the j pipe is connect to the waterbox too but i notice another hose in front of the waterbox, do i cap that off too? just trying to make sure i do the right thing, i dont want to screw up before i go out to havasu. need some info from you guys

    thanks, rick

I used a hole saw to cut a piece of 1" appatounge to make a plug for the plastic air baffle and I used the stock rubber hoses with a 2 1/2" PVC sch80 close nipple to complete the second box delete. On the PVC nipple, I put it on a lathe to cut off the threads on both ends. This could have been done with sand paper, files, or a grinder, but I have a lathe, so why not!

It sounds mean in the water! Too bad it's such a big boat and can't back it up with any real speed on top.

Now with the extra space, I'm going to mound a bilge pump and a float switch that is always powered. I'll use a switch that I'll mount in the glovebox incase I want to manually run it.

Here's a picture of the outside where I just cut a hole for my bilge overboard:
