Nose cone cause flooding hull?
Hey guys this past weekend my hull took serious amounts of water in fairly quickly. The day before I installed a new wear ring and impeller. Luckily I got back to the dock in time anyways I got home and tore down the pump and found the rubber nose cone that I thoguht was non existent. It was a 1/3 of the way up the driveshaft. Could this have caused the leak? I have checked my carbon seal and boot and appears and feels in great condition. I did order a complete driveline rebuild kit and and speedfreaks bellow band just in case. I hope it was just the nose cone however. I know the bailer lines can cause leaks and need to clamp high. I have no block offs or aftermarket exhaust. Any ideasd now that the carbon seal looks fine? Also I can't find a how to on how to install the carbon ring and bellow band anyone have instructions?
