    GTX Limited Idle Speed

my '03 GTX Limited idles above 1700 rpm which is way too fast around docks, etc. Is there a manual adjustment for this? What is the correct idle speed for this model?

I had this issue with my gtx ltd . The adjustment is at the end of the throttle cable closest to the engine. We had to loosen an adjustment nut and let out slack. 1800 is normal idle. Ours was 2300 before adjustment

If your idle rpm is correct, the you can just put the reverse bucket down a touch.

Thanks for the tips. Reverse has saved me from many DOH! moments. At least Sea Doo had the sense to put it on the left side!
