    Carb fuel leak (Polaris 750)

    I have a Polaris SLT 750

There is a fuel leak coming from the back cap of the carb. It coming out of the hole in the cap covering the Diaphragm.

I suspect that I need to replace my Diaphragms. Does anyone else have other suggestion of what might be causing the leak?

    Bingo bango.

Is the fuel leaking while running or as the ski sets? I'd suggest rebuilding the carbs with new kits of the diaphragms are bad enough to be cracked. The kit will give you new o-rings, filters, gaskets...all the usual stuff that gets brittle with time just like your diaphragms.

    Thanks,
I guess I'll try replacing the diaphragms. Does $40 sound like a good price for the 3 diaphragms?

Use original Mikuni diaphragms, you should inspect them before buying anything it will be cheaper to buy the kit than additional parts if there is something else going on in the carbs.

Correct, the cost of Mikuni diaphragms isn't much cheaper than buying the complete kits.

i have genuine mikuni diaphrams here for 15.00 ea.

or a complete rebuild kit, for all three carbs, for 135.00 + s&h. this also has the needle and seats included. ( also genuine mikuni parts)

we are talking about a machine that is 15+ yrs old, i would go through the carbs completly, and while they are off, i would also recomend doing the triple outlet fuel pump up grade.

send me an email, or call if i can help.
