    RXP-X Hull Mods?

I am in the process of making a lightweight rxp-x hull
and need some advise on how to mod it..

i am stripping the complete hull and top deck to make a fiberglass mould and then make a modded lightweight px hull

so far i am thinking of removing the OPAS system completly from the hull

need advise on many good mods to this hull

will a stepped hull have any efect.?

Honestly? i can't give you any input on this but i know enough that seadoo puts years of engineering in these and your asking alot of questions, are you sure your up to this?? This is a HUGE task at any level of experience.Changes effect it in so many ways,i.e high or low speeds, tracking, pump efficiency etc..Alot of questions...This job is NOT for the meady-oker mechanic.

    goodluck

a straight carbon copy is big enough.....to mod it...i sugest you ..check out my build thread ...i am in for a solid..3 months 40 hours a week shaping ect.and it is still a plug...i still have to make molds then a carbon kevlar piece...it is about to go upside down again for the 3 rd time to make mods to get the handeling i am looking for...it is a huge undertaking...unless you do it for a living ..or have done similar prodjects..give it serious thought..

cool just wanted to make sure you understand it takes a ton of time..

if i were just going to do a mild change ..i would just sharpen the chines up a little and go..when i get my turbo set up done i need to flip mine again as well..if this flip flop doesnt do what i want ..i am going to do just that ...sharpen up the chines on my stock rxp ..fill in all the holes..including the opas..and put everything in it for the summer..the sort my new one in the fall..being in fla...we can ride all year round for the most part..but summer is still best..and i dont want to be down all summer messing with it...
