    785Pro Red Top Tuning part 2

    I followed the tuning tips by Randy, and it seems a little better, I am getting 7750 --7780 tops on my rpms with the auto drop nozzle and with the R&d grate back on, Its certainly better that what I was getting,

    It pulls strong on the starts and jumps off the line,

    With another coming up this weekend in Madisonville TX. I hope to be victorious, in the 800 limited class,

    It seems like I should be getting more, but no money for Novi's or Rifle Bore carbs,

    I put a X Charger on my supercharged Seadoo with some 42# injectors and I am getting 74 mph on the gps, I am almost ready for the endurance race with that big cruiser,

    That's good numbers for a stock-like ski.

    What mods have you got on it besides the red tops?

    I am going to check my impeller it is supposed to be a 12/17 modified by watcon

    Looks like your getting there... How does it pull? What does the wash look like? Those RPM's are what a stock 785 should be... If you happy with it run it.. Did you change the jetting? Sounds like all you did if free up the boat with a change of Intake grate. I would tune using that setup and maybe switch intakes for race conditions.

    It pulls strong, all the needles were set at 1-1/4 open, except the center high was 1/2 a turn
    It has 2.0 needle & seats instead of the 2.3
    Now the lows are about 1-1/4 out, and the highs are about 3/4 out

    I have a boroscope and I am going to look at the wash,

    does adjusting the needles change the wash or do I have to change the seats to adjust the wash??

    No Choke Plates
    OEM Throttle Plates one hole for primer only
