just bought rxpx, what can i do to make the ski stay planted better at top speed?

like the title says, what can i do to get it to stay planted at top speed, ive played with the trim as much as i can and found the sweet spot, but the slightest wake or chop makes me loose a good amount of speed. what can i do to keep the rear planted more?

buy some Riva pro series block offs or RE's for the rear of the ski. They should help great. The Riva's are in the online store and the RE's you'll have to find used if you go that route since they aren't available at the moment.Good luck. also might want to try a R&D intake grate or Worx grate they make it stay planted better.

    Nature of the beast.

What intake grate and/or mods do you have done to the ski?

I know there is a DIY mod for the side sponsons to lower them with help through cornering. Id imagine it would help your problem a little.

ski is stock. picked it up saturday. my cousins07 rxt 215 with intake grate and intake, just stays planted and is jsut as fast top end with 2 people on as my rxpx. granted my cousisn ski is faster than my buddies 08 rxt with same mods and really seems to be a factory freak. his ski is awesome on fuel too lol.

The stock grate on a PX really slows the ski down. Most people that ride mostly smooth water run a R&D grate. I picked up around 3 mph by switching to a R&D. If you ride rough water Worx seems to be the grate of choice for a PX.
