Need some help... Not really sure what's wrong

Ok so this evening I took my ski out for the second time this evening after mods. (listed in sig) Ski ran great yesterday evening and the 15-20 mins I was on it this evening. Came back into the dock to let my brother ride it. Well he gets out about 100 feet from the dock and gets on it and hits the rev limiter and the ski will barely go anywhere and shakes. We limp it onto the trailer. He sucked up a piece of drift wood, but it never made it to the prop. Cleaned that out of the grate, launched it back in the water. Same symptoms. When i got home this evening i pulled the pump and it looks just fine. What do you guys think is my problem?

Sounds like there is still something in the pump, or another piece of that wood went through the pump and did some damage.

Good advice, pull the impeller and check the pump housing for dammage.

Visually the pump still looks good. I just put a new wear ring in the day before and it still looks fresh. No scarred edges on the prop. I looked at the pump shoe and noticed there are two fins broken a little bit but I wouldn't think that to be a problem.

There's part of your issue. U have to grind them all perfectly flat/smooth now bro. All or nothing with the fins.

I think the prop got loose. It happens if you don't tighten it down enough. Go fast, then let off.... It has happened before to me when I was being a dumb ass....
