    How to split 4 tec case

    Hi guys in the process of ripping my engine apart i have undone every bolt apart from the ones at the buttom of the block that holds the crank in place, i am trying to split the case in half any sugesstions welcome thanks

    If you have taken all the bolts out... Large aluminum caps, #50 torques bit, taken out the main bolts under the caps and all the bolts around the edge of the cases, the pry up and tap on the tabs sticking out. Sometimes I have to pry at the flywheel gear onto the inside of the case with pry bar to the bottom case, it doesn't take much pressure there. Then work both sides back and fourth gentley. OH make sure the engine is upside down..... DON'T PRY ON THE SEALING AREA OF THE CASES
