It is my understanding that the ski will go into limp home mode at 100 hrs. Perhaps others will chime in on this one with their experiences.

No. You will get a supercharger maintenance message, but no limp mode.

I have two 2007 RXT models with 51 hours. By what appears to be the "average" rider on this site, we would be considered old people. Mostly tooling around the lakes, pulling the kids on tubes, etc. If you (like me) either didn't know much about the ceramic washer issue or you maybe do know but think you'll make it, please do yourself a favor and don't even start them again until you pull the SC and get it rebuilt and get the ceramic washers out of there if you still have them. There are plenty of stories you can read about it but I will just say this about mine. I am in the middle of installing one rebuilt SC that didn't fail (thankfully) and have the other RXT motor hanging from a chain in my basement awaiting new oil pump parts, etc. to put it back together and then put it back in. Pulling the SC is actually very easy. While I probably am capable of rebuilding it, for $75 a rebuild, I sent mine to Jerry. He turned them right around. Anyway, save yourself the headache and get them rebuilt while the only hassle is pulling the SC and putting it back in. Pulling the motor, tearing it down, ordering $500 in motor parts (on top of the SC rebuild kit), flushing the motor out, and now faced with reinstalling it all, is not nearly as fun as being on the water.
