Ultra 150 air intake and hood mods
I am trying to do the air intake mods to my '05 Ultra 150. I don't know what you need to have to drill the hole in the fiberglass. I was thinking of a door handle hole drill bit. Also what size of the following would you need: a shop vac hose, 2 couplings, 2 fernco reducers from the plumbing aisle and a few stainless screws. I was thinking about taking out the one stock intake and comparing it to buy another if I can't find out what to get on here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I figured I would do this along with the Stinger mod and the 3 degree timing advance. And try to get all 3 done at the same time this weekend. Should be fun to see what improvements I may get.

I would adviise against the air mod unless you are doing real engine mods as well. With the stinger and 3 degree you are not going to need anymore air then you have. When you do the air mod it is also suggested to put in bilge pumps because of the open holes in the front of your ski.

If you have an 05, then you probably already have the upgraded air intakes. If you lift the hood and there is an air intake between the oil and fuel fill caps, you have the updates. If you only have the intakes at the base of the hood (2 of them) then you don't have the upgrade.
