I don't think you need to weld an extension onto them. They work great as is for porpoising.

They do work well, not a 100% fix, but they do get any "death wobble" easier to correct and tame.

I'm considering it, I wont be riding for the next two weeks so I might just do it, especially after seing the ones on "Jetsport.be" and maybe some trim tabs or the extension on ride plate.

im thinking on the ride plate extention also. hulk whats the perfect length? have u worked all the bugs out yours yet? i just got all my ride plate holes filled will see how it helps this weekend. and i heard that riva had intended on making the pro series longer as long as the hull but racing rules wouldnt let them so maybe they were on to something.

My rideplate extension is now 3/4" and works extremely well with the Pro Blockoffs. No porpoising at all. NONE!!!

Glen, with my rideplate extension and the pro blocks hookup thru chop is unreal. I know you ride in ocean conditions so I would be tempted to do about a 1 1/4" extension and then cut it down from there if need be.

I originally had my extension come off flat with the plane of the ride plate. I have since bent it upwards to help get the nose of the ski up some.
