    04 RXP Vibration problem

Having a problem with an 04 Seadoo RXP.
Idles fine. But, when given more than 3000-3500 rpms worth of throttle, it shakes violently, and does not accelerate any faster. The speedometer reads zero as well.

Could debris be stuck inside somewhere? If so, do I check from the rear where the water exits? or do I check where the water enters through the ride plate?

It only vibrates during load and the sparkplugs look fine. If there's a problem with the driveshaft how do I check if its the problem.

Sounds like debris in the pump. Grab a flashlight and look for the gremlin, or pull it.

Ok I checked the end where the water comes out. Inside I see what looks like propeller blades. A large white plastic ring is wedged against the propeller blades. This ring appears to be the same size in diameter as the propeller. This plastic ring appears to be a part of the jetski and came a loose from whereever it was attached. Any idea what this ring is called and where it should be? Obviously not wedge beside the propeller blades.

Something in the pump! Or the prop is loose.

Pull the pump. The white thing is the wear ring. I doubt it's came out of place. Same thing happened to me on Monday. My prop was loose.

from looking at an exploded view of the pump housing assembly, the only two parts it could possibly be are either:
    #293200087 NEOPRENE SEAL
    or
    #267000105 WEAR RING

What material is the wear ring made of?
Also what book/manual shows the correct procedure for removal of the pump assembly?

Did you have to replace anything or was it just a matter of reassembling something and tightening it all down?
