Thread: Seadoo stability

Owning a few seadoos, i realized the major diferences in their onwater stability, my 97 gs is fairly unstable, i can barely get on it or pass a side wake at idle speeds, my 95 gtx is definetly way more stable, even two people can climb on it and wakes seem to be less of a hasle. To my surprise the 06 rxp is way more stable than i expected( thinking it was another gs)
So my question is, are the newer doo's even more stabler? Like an rxp or rxp, how about with suspension? Im considering a new pwc, and cant try any out because my dealers say its impossible ( only possible when they have an open house, with a ton of people just to ride a pwc and not to buy. ) so, s3 hull or regular, suspension or not, rxp or rxt , or gtx. Which one is more stable, and provide a "chart of stability" from 1 to 10, 10 being rock stabile.
Thanks in advance,

The new RXP-X will be very similar to what you have, i believe the hull is the same? or at least similar.
RXT/GTX etc will all be the same (all have same S3 hull), very stable.

so. even more stable than the rxp? WOW.
so would i be able to stand on one side and it wont flip? (200 pounds)
and do the IS-AS add or reduce stability?
thanks for quick reply, helps alot

Thanks for the help!
And @20footboy i think if its not the S3, hull, then im pretty sire the hulls are the same.
And ive decided to wait for whats coming up in 2012. If not, i will look into a 2011 gtx limmited ( have a friend, hes selling it (23hours)for 7K (dammaged hull(slid on a rock, only punctured in one place no cracks whatsoever and missing storage box and handlebars)
Which seems a fair price for me. I can basically replace and repair the damages (1/2"hole )

My Rxps are stable. But nothing like a gtx/rxt.
