    Throttle hesitant

Just noticed something that hasn't happened before. After jumping in chop, I noticed that sometimes when I get back on the throttle it hesitates for 2-5 seconds. To best describe it, sounds like it is running on choke for those few seconds. After feathering the throttle a little it returns to normal. Any ideas?

Sounds like it could be your Tops sensor cutting in.

Yep, that is definately your TOPS sensor coming into play.

The TOPS sensor does what exactly? Is there something that I should do or have done?

TOPS is the Tip Over Protection System. When you start jumping waves and getting wild it senses that and starts cutting out your engine. Not really anything you can do about it. Some people have talked about bypassing it, but i wouldnt have a clue how.

I do know that the Rotax Racing ECU does eliminate this problem.

Do you have a custom air intake.
I had one and it swallowed a little water and my ski would hesitate and have lower rpm then break back out. I've now used outerwear covers and redesigned it.

The T.O.P.S. idea makes perfect sense. I get a more mild case of the engine cut out as I do sharp, agressive turns. That's definitely what is happening.
