looking to buy newer 4 stroke please advise ... not brand specific..3 seater a must
hello everyone, i am looking into buying a used/leftover 3 seater in the next 2 months and am looking for some help.... i am not brand specific in my requirements but however what i would like to achieve is a 75mph 3 seater ski with minimal bolt ons. potentially looking in the 09-11 year era . i am not looking to start a thread with a pissing contest as its post so please save that for PM's . i am merely looking for speeds attained from mostly stock , mild bolt on 75mph 3 seater 4stroke skis. thank you all for your input , Bruce

Not to high-jack your thread but I am in a similar situation.
I'm about to move and there is little flat water where I am going. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst, I have been told that the water is about a 7. Me and the wife are high speed freaks and love our current skis but know we will need to get a 3 seater for the wife. Both of my PXs are running low 77s and the conversion is a solid 86. I want a 3 seater that will run 75+ in good conditions and still stay hooked up in the ruff chop and not beat her to death.
The VXR/S are out of the question. I'm looking at the FZR/S, RXTX260, and yes, the 300X. Here is the dilemma.
I know that the 300X is a freaking whale and will loose reliability when modded to go 75+. I also read that the FZR/S are easy to get to the speed that I want but I read a lot of people suffering from reliability issues too. I haven't read to many people that are going 75 on the RXTX and what is really strange, I haven't seen too many people say they have had reliability issues with the doo.

He wants a 3 seater, SHO is a very good choice and 75 will be easy to get out of it.

i have been reading up on the sho's and they seem to be the easiest to get to 75mph for the money. thanks for the inputs.
