    Welcome

No real power gains from changing exhaust or waterbox on a Ficht fuel injected engine.

you can remove the baffle on the back of the machine, get some 3 in tubeing and remove the planet system on the exhaust, measure the squish on each cylinder taking note and marking numbers down, remove the heads cc them and have them cut accordingly up to max of .010.little extra power.still safe on premium fuel.i have 74 hrs on mine.

Separate from the increased compression, do you have data to support a power or RPM increase from altering the exhaust in this way?

anything is worth a shot in my book . you can't learn everything from a book some things need to be done by trial and error thats how most guys who want to get more HP have always done it

Exactly. The trial is making the change, and measuring the result.

The measurement is what tells you if it was an error. No measured improvement or noted result means it didn't do what you thought it might.

Hence my question - was there an improvement from those changes?
