Black Rubber dust in coolant tank?

Noticed this 1st time last outing. Its floating in the water tank and creates a ring around the edge (like a dirty toilet)

Wouldn't that cause the coolant to blow out?

Not necessarily. Not sure, but I think the head gasket starts to erode around the edges of the water jacket is what that is from.

Its normal comes from the coolant cap. I noticed this also even after a new head gasket and fresh coolant. Water pump is yellow so nothing to worry about its been discussed before

This answer works the best for me I check the water a lot (I was suspicious I was losing coolant at one point but it's held steady for a few months).
