On my Wake 155 I can get around 60 - 61 GPS when I'm by myself. (300+ pounds)

I`m more curious about the new 2011 GTI, hopefully they can at least reach or cruise 60-62...

Andy; I demoed both the 2011 GTI SE 130 and the GTI Limited 155 last weekend. The water was pretty rough and I was able to get 57 out of the 155. The 130 was 2-3 mph slower. I'm sure the 155 would easily do 59-60 mph in better conditions and with less than a full tank. Acceleration felt about equal with both boats. Fuel mileage is supposedly superior with the 130. I really liked the quality of both skis. They were miles above that of the Yammi VXR that I also demoed. The problem with the SE series is with the trim. Granted it's better than no trim at all but in order to change the angle of attack you have to go into the menu first. A real hassle ! The Limited model has a dedicated trim button on the left handle bar that can quickly (very quickly !!) change the trim under way. All in all, if I were in the market for a new ski I would probably go with a 2011 GTI. The 4tec N/A engines can't be beat for dependability and fuel mileage. The closed loop system is the way to go when used in salt water. The 30 gallons of storage is also a plus.

    Hey Richard! whats new!
Thanks for sharing your experiences. I do like the color combo of the black and sunshine and the 4 tec is a true marine engine. I suspected it would be good on fuel. I`m just weighing and comparing models. Less fuss no muss!... Trim would be a plus+
