    Home made adjustable nozzle

    Home brew

    ....just thought i would post up and see what you think

    What did you do? Modify the stock nozzle to take the Riva rings, or did you make the rings.

    You drilled and tapped the stock nozzle and just bought the Riva rings, eh?

    i watched this guy at work... old skool machine shop type guy....

    yes stock nozzle set up and machined to take Riva ring..

    Hydrotherapy---------One word of CAUTION on this mod. If for some reason the ring comes loose from the reduction nozzle it will cause the stearing nozzle to lock up (the set screws may not hold it secure. Just be shure the ring is secured in a way that it is impossible for the ring to come loose from the reduction nozzle. Tommy Jordan

    same caution

    I did my own as well, I completely redesigned the rings so that I had 2 bolts go completely through the ring to hold it in place

    I did the same with my Riva nozzle...drilled & tapped nozzle for larger set screws & drilled rings so the scews hold them better. I never had a ring blow off before reworking it, but Rip'N Tear had them blow off his stage 3 several times before doing the same with his.
