Speeds and Mods -- What to look for

Went out today with two bars of fuel and the trusty GPS to see what kind of speeds I was getting. I wasn't too pleased with the results.

    Mods:

    SRX-CD-15/20R

    Riva RXP Intake Grate

    42 # Fuel Injectors (set of 3)

    Fizzle XS Intercooler Kit

RIVA Pro Series Water Box for 07 and Older Models

    Fizzle 4" air intake kit

Rude Performance Exhaust Tip With Stock Exhaust Blockoff
    RIVA Gen II Supercharger Impeller
    Intercooler Water Strainer Kit
Breather, Catch Can Kit, SD RXP RXT GTX 4-TEC

With the air and water temp between 60-70 and @ 8000 RPM I was only able to pull 73.3
My oil level is correct, the intake grate and bolts are intact, but I feel like I should be more in the range of 76.

    What could be going wrong?

To be honest, I don't have a boost gauge installed. Would a local car parts store stock something like this? My IC block off plug has the thread for what I would assume to be a boost gauge.

Gen 2 impeller is only putting out 9.5 lbs @ 8100 rpm. Sounds like you need to have that prop tweaked. I'm running 78+ with my untouched prop @ 8100 with 11.5 lbs of boost

I was considering bending the prop down myself to get those 100 RPMs. Maybe I should fill ride plate holes while I'm at it.

That wouldn't hurt, trim the bucket too.

Bend it to get to around 8200, then fill your ride plate holes, add a pump wedge and rod = 75+. All those little things add up.

    8200? I though 8100 was the magical target #

8100 is about Ideal to keep u off the limiter. I guess I got lucky with my ski and it took well to mods bc I'm running my speed with out a wedge.
