    2010 RXP-X Low Top Speed

GPS Speed 64 mph at 8060 rpm with RIVA intake, 3/4 Fuel, 78 degrees, elevation 1000' I weigh 200lbs.This seem slow to me. I'm I wrong? I was figuring 67-68 mph. There's only 15 hours on the ski. Does anyone know of anything that could be slowing me down?

When you say Riva intake, intake grate or air intake?

Loose the stock intake grate. If you ride rough water get a Worx, if you ride smooth get a R&D.

What's your opinion on the RIVA Top-Loader Intake Grate?

try and look in there and see. I believe in the how to section theirs a thread on checking the wear ring and prop. Mine only took a small pebble to knoock it out, didn't get stuck or any thing. I heard it go threw though.

I run the riva. I believe it's the fastest grate, but not the best for the chop. I'll probably end up with and r&d because the rivas break off once you start going over 75mph.

The R&D is the fastest and the safest on a PX. If you plan on going close to 80 in the future, then get the R&D.
