    impeller question

    is the diameter supposed to be the same all the way around or are the leading edges supposed to be slightly smaller in diameter it's not much but it's clearly noticable with the naked eye i was thinking about sending them in to get freshened up

    I believe they are slightly smaller in diameter. You reallt want the trailing edges tight though.

    What's your clearances at? Any dings or chips?

    brand new wear ring so it's nill i don't even think i could get a feeler gauge in it but the leading edges have maybe 1mm clearance i was thinking about getting it renewed and wondering if i should

    it specs out on the pitch gauge the leading edges had a few minor nicks i smoothed out with 1200 grit it was kind of sharp too so i rounded it down some

    i even stuck it on my wheel balancer to check haha it was actually really balance which surprised me

    just wanted to make sure after i blew up the wear ring i didn't know if it would cause it to cavitate or not i took it out this weekend and it would hit the rev limiter once or twice upon acceleration

    oh yes this is on my 95 seadoo spx

    might just have ventilated some no worries im tired of messing with it already it's exactly where i want it it it's just my floating boombox anywayz muahaha

    it does need a r&d intake grate though it comes unhooked easily in the slightest chop
