Did you remove the intake manifold and dump the water out of it?

Did you remove the spark plugs before trying to crank it?

You have to make sure you got ALL the water out of the intake manifold and S/C ... you have to spray BOMB lube down the cylinders change the oil and oil filter several times then run it to burn the rest of the water out dont forget to also change the plugs your plugs are prob soked with water ..same thing happened to my ski way back and I was fine because I did what I mentioned but I did it in a VERY timely manner

Well you probably didnt get the water out of the intake and air box and when you hit the gas it dumped into the motor. You have to remove all the water from the air box and intake. and change the oil about 3-4 times like already quoted. Pull the plugs and look in there and if there is water in there you will be able to see it with a flash light. I would do it immediatly.

the rope that i got stunk to was in the bridge, it was in a rive, the current was real hard round there and we just couldnt get the rope loss, so its just kept turning till it was all in.
