Polaris verses skat track impellor weight
I have a skat track prop here that weighs in at 31.6 ounces.. the Polaris impellor weighs in at 45.5 ounces, what gives?
Thats almost 50% more.
If the skat track isn't marked with a serial number, how can I tell what pitch it is if I don't have a gauge? Thats BS...

I finally see it. In the inside ring etched in there. Thanks Bob. There must a big difference in rpm spin up with prop being so light. 12-17

Whats the clearance from the stator vanes? I bet the Skat has a lot less clearance where the rear of the blade comes near the stator.

I havent measured it yet in that area. But the wear ring tolerence is very close. hardly any light shines thru.
