I would change the two pressure switches first. Not tough to change and much cheaper than having them mess with the regulator. Have you lost supercharger washers recently or have the engine apart?

If you have your Sea Doo in a dealer, please ask if check the oil pressure with a oil pressure tester. 10w40 mineral oil use - reccomend motul 5000 (perfect and better than BRP oil).

RXP have 2 oil pumps to check, in front of engine and... In PTO cover (same rotor of water pump prop).

To test the oil pressure I reccomend you to bought one service manual to see the correct procedures for this job.

Is important check on idle and on running (more than 5000rpm).

I know its an 08 but the Faults for 09 P1690 is VTS. could this be the case, or def. oil pressure. And if the Dealer Diognosed it why didn't they fix it...

How did you go... if still having problems, have you checked where your VTS connects. I have the shop manual at home I can check on more things to check when I get home Tommorow night.

Over the summer I had the exact same issue you described. Oil alarm with p1690 VTS code. Never figured it out.
